For server owners / API and assistants

Everything the site shows, your code can read.

A free key reads every server we track. Scoped keys reach your own: status, roster, players, bans and the Console's actions. Events come to you, signed. Assistants connect over MCP.

The public API

Servers with the same filters as the site, a server's players, rules and history, communities, leaderboards, quickplay and Steam player pages. JSON, OpenAPI 3.1, cached a minute with ETags.

Free: 60 requests a minute, 10,000 a day, per key.

Your servers

Choose the scopes when you make the key: read, bans, console actions, events; pin it to one server if it only needs one. It reaches status and the live roster, your players with your notes and flags, your bans and ban lists, your staff, and kick, ban, say and change map with the same checks as the Console. A staff member's key reaches the servers they help run, with their permissions, never the owner's list.

Events and webhooks

Poll the last 30 days of chat, joins, leaves, kills and map changes with a cursor, or give us an https endpoint: batches arrive within seconds, signed with HMAC-SHA256, retried three times, and the endpoint is switched off after 50 failures in a row (you're emailed). Deliveries come from LobbyVerse's own proxies, so you can allow-list their addresses; the docs list them.

Assistants over MCP

Any MCP client can search servers, find one to join, read a player's public history and your favorites with a key or a sign-in. Owner tools (status, players, kick, ban, lift a ban, say, change map) sit behind a consent page that names the servers the assistant may touch, and every destructive call needs a confirmation token the assistant gets first. Pause or disconnect an assistant any time from your account.

What the API never gives out

Players' addresses: not in any answer, event, webhook or tool. Anything that reaches RCON or your ban list needs two-factor on your account at the time of the request. A key is revoked in a click and stops at once; the terms' API section says the rest.

What it needs

An account. Two-factor for anything that reaches RCON or your ban list.
