Terms of Service

LobbyVerse is operated by Groovy Ape, LLC ("we", "us"). By using LobbyVerse, including its website and status banners (together, the "service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
LobbyVerse lists publicly available game servers and information about them. Server listings are gathered automatically and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Game servers are run by third parties; we do not operate, moderate or vouch for them, and you join them at your own risk.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service to attack, flood or disrupt any game server or network;
- make automated requests at a rate that degrades the service for others;
- try to break into, probe or interfere with our systems; or
- use the service in violation of any law.
We may block access for anyone who does.
Status banners
You may embed our status banners on your own sites free of charge. We may change, rate-limit or withdraw them at any time.
The API
You may use the LobbyVerse API (api.lobbyverse.com) free of charge for your own apps, sites, bots and research, with an API key from your account. When you do:
- Keep your key to yourself. You're responsible for what's done with it; revoke it on your API keys page if it leaks.
- Credit LobbyVerse where people see the data, for example "Server data from LobbyVerse" with a link.
- Don't resell the data itself or use it to build a copy of LobbyVerse; building something new with it is fine.
- Stay within your key's limits, and don't spread requests over several keys or accounts to get around them.
We may change the API, its limits and these rules, and we may revoke a key that breaks them or puts the service at risk.
Third-party content and trademarks
Server names, maps and player names are chosen by third parties and are shown as reported. LobbyVerse is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation; Steam and all game names are trademarks of their respective owners.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Groovy Ape, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or of any game server listed on it.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
